Windracers[edit]
Thanks for cleaning up the page Windracers. I fixed the orphan issue and it has since attracted other contributors/editors. However the page doesn't appear on Google which seems odd. Is there any way to remedy this? Vcwatcher (talk) 12:20, 11 June 2024 (UTC)
Edit to Red Bull Theatre[edit]
See City (disambiguation)#United Kingdom, where the usage is explained. In British English it's the common usage for that part of London and so it would have been a courtesy to have retained it--AntientNestor (talk) 19:42, 2 May 2024 (UTC).
- Hi. Actually that doesn't explain it. Regardless, the MOS is pretty clear, please see: Wikipedia:Manual of Style#Proper names versus generic terms. Onel5969 TT me 20:28, 2 May 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for including Wikipedia:Manual of Style#Proper names versus generic terms in your latest edit summary. May I included a quote from there? "[…]an exception is the City of London, referred to as the City" (emphasis added). I'm finished now, because of WP:3RR.--AntientNestor (talk) 22:16, 2 May 2024 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of United States of Europe (disambiguation)[edit]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on United States of Europe (disambiguation) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a disambiguation page which either
- disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic);
- disambiguates zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
- is an orphaned redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" that does not target a disambiguation page or page that has a disambiguation-like function.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Meridian Gaming[edit]
Hello, i need a help. What do you consider article Meridian Gaming being an orphan and what is expected to do? Thank you in advance --Backij (talk) 13:44, 28 May 2024 (UTC)
- Hi. When an article is an orphan, that means that no other WP articles link to it. You can see what links to a page by clicking on the "what links here" on the left side of the page. To remedy the situation, simply find another WP article which mentions this topic. I did a search using the advanced search option for the exact phrase, and found zero results. I hope this helps. Progress Chapter Two: The March Of Progress deletion nomination[edit]
Hello. Thank you for previously encouraging me with creating wrestling-related articles. I have a request for you. I recently started working on a project which has the objective of documenting all of Progress Wrestling's Chapters from first to least with mainspace articles for each. However it wasn't too much until I stumbled upon a deletion tag for the second-ever event of this kind. The user blames the notability of the event and i tried to explain them that my idea is to somehow categorize all of these events as a book with pages. I tried to point out the best links to coverages which should be more than enough to demonstrate the event's notability. Is it possible that you could throw an eye on the situation or even help me out in the deletion debate? Looking forward to hearing from you. Regards! JeyReydar97 (talk) 19:09, 29 May 2024 (UTC)
- Hi. In cases like this, where there is scant coverage of events, you might consider making a an overall article which includes all the events, rather than individual articles. Once I'm canvassed to a deletion discussion, I rarely take part. I did look it over, and LeeVilenti makes a salient point about just because something exists doesn't make it notable, even if there are other events like it. I looked at the sourcing, and the issue is with their reliability. Only the Wrestling Revolution piece is in-depth enough and from a RS, and therefore supports notability. The others are either brief mentions or non-RS sources. Onel5969 TT me 10:00, 1 June 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for your sincere feedback. I'll try to familiarize myself more with WP:ENTERTAINER, WP:NSPORT and WP:GNG criterias in the future. Regards! JeyReydar97 (talk) 10:27, 1 June 2024 (UTC)

Disambiguation question, Canal+[edit]
Hi Onel5969! I was looking to disambiguate TV3 in List of La Liga broadcasters and started checking out neighboring links/sources when I noticed that Canal+ was linking to Canal+ (French TV channel). I believe that that was the result of this diff by you. The article does not specify whether they are talking about domestic or international rights, but the context led me to believe that it was domestic rights, in which case Canal+ (Spanish TV channel) would seem to be more likely to be correct. I do not have specific knowledge here, so I wanted to check with you first, in case I'm missing something. Cleancutkid (talk) 22:35, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, I think changing to the Spanish link would be appropriate. Onel5969 TT me 10:05, 1 June 2024 (UTC)

Alignment of <ref> tags[edit]
Hi,
Thank you for cleaning up the page Selman's theorem I just created. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Selman%27s_theorem&oldid=1226883796
I must say I'm confused about your change deleting the indentation before the </ref>
tag, which makes it not aligned with the matching <ref>
tag. Is this intentional? Is it part of some convention that I missed? (I'm a rather new WP editor.) Jean Abou Samra (talk) 13:58, 2 June 2024 (UTC)

New Artist Page[edit]
Hi @Onel5969 I recently created https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Bonnie_Rychlak, an article about the artist Bonnie Rychlak. She has exhibited with Jeanne Silverthorne on several occasions and their work is aligned. I noticed that you contributed to Silverthorne's page and thought you would be in a good position to appreciate this new article and provide feedback on what might improve it. Thank you in advance.
