About categories[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia! I appreciate your enthusiasm in wanting to add categories to pages, but normally, a page should be only in the lowest and most specific level of a category that it can be. It doesn't need to also be in all the higher categories as well - that's considered redundant. For example, at Ain ez Zarqa, you added Category:Bodies of water and Category:Bodies of water of Asia, both of which are parent categories for Category:Bodies of water of Lebanon. I've reverted the edits and removed all redundant categories (not just yours either). I'm going to have a look at your other edits to make sure none of them have redundant categories either. If you have any questions, please feel free to respond to me here or on my own talk page. ♠PMC(talk) 19:13, 27 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your reminder and valuable instruction, I got it. Thanks again! J7Gor (talk) 19:23, 27 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Matrixport[edit]

Hello, J7Gor, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username Hatchens, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Matrixport, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Matrixport.

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Hatchens}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

(Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

@Hatchens: Hello, I've made a big improvement to the article. Do you think the content is appropriate now? Thanks! J7Gor (talk) 13:44, 15 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
