Tsurube Sushi Yasuke (つるべすし弥助) is a restaurant in Shimoichi, Nara. It specializes in Japanese cuisine and is particularly known for its ayu dishes. The restaurant has a history of more than 800 years, and appears in the kabuki play Yoshitsune Senbon-zakura.

According to tradition, the restaurant has a history of more than 800 years,[2] and appears in the kabuki play Yoshitsune Senbon-zakura.[1] Its notable patrons include the novelists Yoshikawa Eiji[3] and Tanizaki Jun'ichirō,[3] and singers such as Misora Hibari,[3] Fujishima Takeo [ja],[3] and Dick Mine.[3]

The business's current owner is Yasuke Takuda (宅田弥助),[4] the 49th-generation owner.[4]
