Hence my changing the terminal "." to an ellipsis "...", as the Buccaneer fleet was transferred back from Scotland to Honington for its final days in RAF service. The original information suggests Honington was only an active flying base during WW2, whereas it played important roles for the V Force and more significantly, as the main base for the Blackburn Buccaneer after its move from the Royal Navy to the Royal Air Force Tags: Mobile edit Mobile web edit

"First Light" is unquestionably the best first-hand description of flying in the RAF during WW2, especially understanding what it was really like in great detail, including how "fatigue" affected pilots. The Me262 was the first "operational" jet aircraft, and it's important we get our facts straight. Well done, indeed, on the 1st flight (as its inventor often said after WW2 when Frank Whittle and he were friends and shared lecture platforms in the USA, the investor's know how was based upon Frank Whittle's publicly available Patents). Let's keep Wikipedia accurate. Tags: Visual edit Mobile edit Mobile web edit

I've just been watching two popular films -- The Red Tails and The Tuskegee Airmen (both available on Amazon). Now, because factually inaccurate films are too often the only source most people see these days, may I please politely request that you folks add an analysis of the accuracy (what's true and what's fiction) of these two films? You've done a superb job of te... Tags: Mobile edit Mobile web edit

Whilst I agree it is appropriate for Wikipedia to include an entry for the musical group Faithless, Wikipedia loses credibility if a musical entry is given precedence over the primary meaning of "Faithless". Editors of this Wikipedia entry need to make appropriate adjustments to my TEMPORARY edit. Thank you. Tags: Reverted Mobile edit Mobile web edit
