Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

The account JetpackJackson was registered in January, but made its first edit today to support Sink Cat in a contentious talk page discussion less than thirty minutes after SinkCat commented. This is not typical behavior from new editors, in my experience. Sink Cat denies being the same person as JetpackJackson. (t · c) buidhe 02:57, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Neither explanation fully makes sense to me, so CheckUser requested. Extraordinary Writ (talk) 07:30, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Geolocates to different but neighbouring countries, but one of the geolocations is particularly poor so it may be closer than it looks. I'd say  Unlikely from a technical standpoint. Does not rule out off-wiki coordination. Dreamy Jazz talk to me | my contributions 11:01, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Not enough evidence to take action. I'm sure whoever closes the RfC will weigh drive-by votes appropriately. Spicy (talk) 01:24, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
