deleting the full stop as it mixes with the wiki markup: [[Earth]] > it can create confusion for newbies! (Although a sentence should be ended with a full stop it is better to emphasis on the code than on the grammar.)
changing: millions already have > many already do (wikilink points at realtime/actual many changes: Special:RecentChanges). If needed a sentence can be added to mention the number of English Wikipedia articles (roughly 6 millions articles), to reflect the global activity.

Introduction to Wikipedia

Welcome to Wikipedia! Anyone can edit almost every page, and many already do.
