In the past it was commonly written Zarathustra by western scholars, e.g. in Nietzsche’s work. In German this would, of course be pronounced with a “t”, not with the sibilant English “th”. The Wikipedia article, however, insists that it was prounounced Zarathustra with a sibilant “the”. The form “Zoroaster” is the Greek form of the name, and appears to be a transliteration.
